A Roku remote skin and a remote cover are different products. A skin is a thin adhesive layer for appearance and everyday surface protection. A cover is a separate shell or sleeve; some are designed to cushion impacts. Start with the exact remote you own and the kind of protection you need.
Slickwraps offers Roku Voice Remote skins, including a custom option. The remote itself is not included.
Match the Remote, Not Just the Roku Device
Do not choose a skin only because your streaming player or television says Roku. Compare the remote’s outline, directional pad, shortcut buttons, voice button and side controls with the product photos. Check any charging port, headphone jack, microphone opening or pairing control your remote has.
Simple remotes, Voice Remotes and Voice Remote Pro versions can differ. A remote that can control your Roku device is not automatically the same physical shape as the remote pictured in a skin listing. If the fit is uncertain, send us a photo before ordering.
Choose the Coverage You Actually Want
- A skin: adds a slim surface layer, color or artwork. It is not a padded case and should not be treated as drop protection.
- A protective cover: adds a separate outer layer. Check the cover maker’s fit and protection specifications rather than assuming every silicone sleeve has tested impact protection.
The Roku Voice Remote Custom Skin currently includes the front skin only. It does not wrap the entire remote. Check each listing’s included coverage instead of assuming front, back and sides are supplied.
Pick a Finish for Its Look and Feel
Browse the finishes offered for your exact remote. Solid colors, textured looks and printed designs create different effects; none is automatically best for every user. Texture may change the feel, but a front-only skin will not add texture to the bare back where your palm rests.

Keep Controls and Signal Openings Clear
Do not cover button travel, microphone openings, ports or the infrared emitter. Roku Simple Remotes use infrared. Voice Remotes pair wirelessly with the Roku device, but some still use infrared for television power or volume. A voice button is therefore not a reason to cover the front emitter. After installation, check navigation, voice input, power and volume separately. If a control is obstructed, correct the fit before using the remote.
Install the Skin on the Intended Surface
Use the skin on the bare remote shown in the listing, not over a silicone cover. A skin cut for the remote is not cut for an extra sleeve, and adhesion to that sleeve is not assured. Follow the supplied instructions and avoid stretching the skin to make a different remote fit.
