BEFORE YOU START
Inspect the pieces included with your kit before peeling anything. Coverage varies by device, so only follow the steps for the pieces you actually received.
Oil, lotion, dust, and lint can transfer to the adhesive and make installation harder.
Use a lint-free cloth and make sure the surface is free of dust, grease, and moisture.
Dry-fit the pieces so you understand their orientation, cutouts, and intended coverage.
The backing paper is one of the best alignment tools for larger skins. Keep it until installation is complete.
Use heat to soften the vinyl around corners and curved edges. Keep the heat source moving and warm the material only until it becomes flexible.
Long, narrow strips can distort when pulled. Align the cutouts first, then guide each strip into place without stretching the material.

MOBILE INSTALLATION
One connected piece covers the back and sides for a seamless finish. This option requires precise alignment, heat, and careful corner work.
The back skin and four side strips install separately, making alignment easier and giving you more control around the edges.
Align the bottom side strip. Center the bottom strip around the charging port and speaker cutouts. Press it into place without pulling or stretching the material.
Install the left and right side strips. Align each strip with the bottom piece you just installed, then confirm the button and opening cutouts before pressing. Guide the strips into place without stretching them.
Complete the frame with the top strip. Align the top strip against one installed side, then check that both corner joints meet cleanly. Do not pull or stretch any of the four side pieces.
Prepare the main back skin. Peel the back skin from its liner, then place most of it back onto the backing paper so only enough adhesive remains exposed to align the camera opening and one outer edge.
Align the camera, then smooth the back. Once the camera opening and back edge are even, remove the backing paper gradually and smooth the skin from the aligned area outward.
Correct wrinkles and finish the edges. If a wrinkle appears, gently lift the material, warm it, and reapply. Use heat to seal the edges, or rub a sharp-feeling edge with a clean microfiber cloth 10–20 times.

GALAXY Z FLIP INSTALLATION
Galaxy Z Flip skins install as separate upper and lower sections. Keep the folding hinge, cover display, cameras, flash, and every seam clear while maintaining even spacing around each panel.
GOOGLE PIXEL INSTALLATION
Google Pixel kits may include a main back skin plus separate camera-bar, top, bottom, and side pieces. Use the camera bar, buttons, ports, and frame edges as fixed alignment references, and install every narrow strip without pulling or stretching it.
TABLET INSTALLATION
Most tablet kits that include side coverage use separated side pieces similar to Split Full coverage. Some tablet models do not include side pieces.
MACBOOK & LAPTOP INSTALLATION
LENOVO LAPTOP INSTALLATION
Lenovo laptop kits may include lid, keyboard-deck, trackpad, bottom, and narrow accent pieces. Install only the pieces included with your kit, using fixed openings and even perimeter gaps as alignment references.
DELL XPS LAPTOP INSTALLATION
Dell XPS kits may include a lid skin, logo insert or cutout, keyboard-deck and trackpad pieces, a bottom skin, and narrow accents. Dry-fit every piece before peeling and install only the coverage included with your kit.
MICROSOFT SURFACE LAPTOP INSTALLATION
Surface Laptop kits may include lid, bottom, feet, and narrow edge pieces. Dry-fit every piece before peeling, maintain even perimeter spacing, and keep the hinge, vents, ports, screws, controls, and rubber feet clear.
APPLE WATCH INSTALLATION
Apple Watch kits may use a one-piece Full Skin or separate Split Skin pieces. Remove the band, match every piece to the case, and keep the Digital Crown, side button, speakers, microphones, sensors, and band channels clear.
Separate case pieces let you align each side and opening independently.
One connected piece wraps around the case and requires extra care at the curved edges.
MACBOOK NAKED SERIES
For Ultra Matte and Gloss finishes. Application solution lets each clear panel float into alignment before it is squeegeed into place.
For Matte and Semi-Gloss finishes. Use the backing paper to control the adhesive while keeping every perimeter gap even.
Clean and identify every panel. Remove connected accessories and clean each installation surface thoroughly. Dry-fit the top, bottom, and any optional inside pieces so you understand the logo, feet, vents, screws, keyboard, and trackpad cutouts before peeling.
Create a backing-paper hinge. Peel back a short section of the top skin and fold the backing paper underneath so only a narrow band of adhesive is exposed. Handle logo cutouts carefully and peel in the direction that does not pull or tear the narrow vinyl around the opening.
Align the first edge with even spacing. Position the exposed adhesive while checking the top and both side gaps. Keep the small perimeter gap consistent; placing one side flush against an edge will leave an oversized gap on the opposite side.
Apply from the center outward. Once the starting edge is aligned, press it down. Pull the backing paper away a little at a time while smoothing the skin from the center toward the nearest edge to push out air and prevent bubbles.
Install the remaining panels the same way. Use the backing-paper method on the bottom and optional inside pieces. Align fixed details such as feet, vents, screws, keyboard, and trackpad openings before exposing more adhesive.
Lift and correct before final pressure. If alignment shifts or a bubble appears, gently lift the affected area and apply it again. Support long or narrow pieces with the backing paper so they do not stretch, then press every edge firmly after the panel is correctly positioned.
MOBILE WET APPLICATION
One connected piece covers the back and sides. Align and secure the flat back first, then form the edges and corners.
The main back skin and side strips install separately, giving you more control around ports, buttons, edges, and corners.
Create a clean workspace and plan for overnight curing. Install the skin before bed so the phone can remain out of its case, pocket, or bag and undisturbed overnight. For a low-dust workspace, use a bathroom shortly after a steamy shower, once the steam has helped settle airborne debris. Wipe the work surface dry, then remove the case, cables, and accessories. Clean the phone and match the separate back skin and side strips to the camera area, ports, speakers, buttons, and corners before peeling.
Wet and align the main back skin. Evenly coat the adhesive side with the recommended application solution. Position the camera opening first, then slide the wet panel until the camera and perimeter gaps are even.
Squeegee the back from the center outward. Use firm, overlapping strokes to push solution and air toward the nearest edge. Wipe away expelled moisture and confirm that the back panel remains aligned.
Install the separate side strips. Wet each strip, align fixed openings such as the charging port, speakers, and buttons, then guide it into place without pulling or stretching the material.
Finish the joins, curves, and corners. Work on one section at a time. Apply heat to make the film flexible, press each edge gradually, and lift and reposition any section that wrinkles or lands out of alignment.
Seal the pieces and allow them to cure. Press every edge and joint firmly and wipe away remaining solution. A hair dryer on a low heat setting can help dry curved areas and secure the edges; keep it moving and do not overheat one spot. Handle the phone carefully because the film may still shift before it fully adheres. Keep the freshly installed surfaces exposed to air, and do not place the phone in a case, pocket, or bag for at least 6–8 hours; overnight is preferred. Very small pockets may disappear within 24 hours.
AIRPODS PRO INSTALLATION
AirPods Pro charging cases use separate body and lid pieces. Remove the earbuds, match every cutout before peeling, and use a hair dryer or heat gun to form the vinyl around the compact curved case.
APPLE PENCIL INSTALLATION
XBOX INSTALLATION
Xbox skin kits vary by console and controller model. Before peeling, match every piece to its surface and use vents, ports, seams, buttons, and panel edges as alignment guides.
PLAYSTATION INSTALLATION
PlayStation skin kits vary by console and controller model. Before peeling, match every piece to its surface and use panel seams, vents, ports, buttons, and controls as fixed alignment guides.
META QUEST INSTALLATION
Meta Quest skin kits vary by headset and controller model. Before peeling, match every piece to its surface and use cameras, sensors, vents, buttons, ports, seams, and controller openings as fixed alignment guides.

This guide covers Steam Deck trackpad skins and the smaller control-area pieces that may be included. Keep the screen, sticks, buttons, speakers, vents, and every moving control completely clear.
ELGATO STREAM DECK INSTALLATION
Elgato Stream Deck skins use the key openings as the primary alignment reference. Position the entire grid before pressing the face panel down so every key remains centered and unobstructed.
INSTALLATION FAQ
Some products intentionally use a small perimeter gap. Center the skin with even spacing rather than making one edge completely flush unless the product's design clearly requires it.
Gently peel the material back, apply a small amount of heat if needed, and reapply it with a smooth windshield-wiper motion from the center toward the edge.
No. Long narrow pieces can stretch easily. Recheck alignment and guide the material into place without pulling it lengthwise.
No. Many phone kits include both coverage styles, but some device models include only one. Match the pieces in your kit to the Full Coverage or Split Full Coverage instructions. If both styles are included, choose the option you prefer.
Yes. Some tablet models include only back coverage. Skip the side steps and use the backing-paper method for the back skin.
Allow at least 6–8 hours. Overnight is preferred, especially before using a tight case, sleeve, or anything that puts pressure on the edges.
