The heat helps make the adhesive more sensitive, the material more flexible, and easier to control around corners to get the best fit possible for your skin! While it is not mandatory, we do recommend using heat, such as a hair dryer or heat gun, especially on non-flat surfaces during the application process. Applying heat makes the material more flexible, activates the adhesive, and helps in smoothing out the edges for a seamless finish. In case you notice any wrinkles during the application, simply peel the skin back gently, apply heat, and then reapply it using a windshield wiper movement starting from the center.
Yes, you can put a case over our skins. Our skins are designed to be thin and lightweight, allowing them to be compatible with most cases. However, it's important to remove the case carefully to avoid any potential friction that may cause the sides of the skin to come off. If you'd like to modify the logo cut on your skin, simply mention your request in the order note during checkout. We carefully review all order notes and will adjust your order accordingly. Whether you prefer a precise logo cut-out or none at all, we're here to customize your device to your exact preferences. NOTE:
1. Install your skins before going to bed. This will allow the skin to cure.
2. Install skins in your bathroom after a steamy shower. This will eliminate all of the dirt and debris floating around in the air and allow for a clean installation.
3. Air and water bubbles smaller than 1mm will disappear within 24 hours after installation. Please be gentle with your device during this time.
4. Patience is the key to a successful installation.
We have thoroughly tested all of our materials with multiple individuals to ensure their quality and performance.
The naked wet material has the potential to stretch or shrink if not properly installed, especially if heat is applied extensively. However, the application of heat can expedite the process and help seal the edges effectively.
The key to successfully installing the naked wet material lies in using a soapy water solution. You should spray the solution onto both the material and the surface. This will enable the material to slide easily into position.
Here's a helpful tip:
Ensure you spray an ample amount of the solution on the film and the surface of the device. This will facilitate smooth sliding without any snagging. Align the wrap carefully and inspect all the corners and edges. You can manipulate and adjust the wrap until you are satisfied with the alignment. Once the alignment meets your expectations, proceed to push out any water and bubbles.
If there is a dry spot on the skin and you try to apply it, this will cause a bubble trap. If that happens, peel back gently, spray more soapy water solution, and proceed with the installation.
