It seems like Facebook wants to be everywhere these days. They recently purchased messaging app WhatsApp for $16 billion and just this week have decided to acquire Oculus Rift, a Virtual Reality firm for $2 billion. The deal is currently pending regulatory approval but includes $400 million in cash and 23.1 million common shares of Facebook, valued at $1.6 billion, as well as an additional $300 million assuming Facebook reaches certain milestones.
